OUR STORY
SOLI DEO GLORIA
To God Alone Be the Glory
SDG was formed for the purposes of glorifying God by genuinely serving customers through providing for their electrical needs. Our talents and abilities are given to us by God, therefore our responsibility is to use them for His glory by loving Him and others. This defines our intention in erecting this company. There are many companies out there for personal gain at the expense of the customer rather than for the customers gain at the expense of the company. So, Jacob Mosely and I moved forward to form what is known as Soli Deo Gloria Electric, which by definition means "To God Alone Be the Glory." This is the reason God has created us to bring Him glory. We desire to be involved in our community by living out the Gospel in our daily lives, focusing on the interest of others rather than our own.
Our vision at SDG Electric is to glorify God by genuinely serving others through providing for their electrical needs.
Our mission at SDG electric is to glorify God by thoroughly and proficiently troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining the electric needs of our customers.
OUR VISION
THE TEAM
Jacob Mosley
Co-Owner
Michael and I met September 2014 in a very old and worn out plant in Laurens, SC. While there we became friends and worked more hours than should be aloud in a years time. Fast forward to 2021 we finally had all the experience and paperwork to open Soli Deo Gloria Electric. With the blessings from God and love from our wives we jumped in with both feet. Over the pass 3 years we have had lots of growing pains and learning experiences that have been nothing, but a blessing in growing and learning as new business owners. My wife and I got married March 2016 and since have been blessed with two boys. Their names are Grayson and Hunter Mosley. We’re members at Church at the Mill and serve in the youth ministries. Once again, I look forward to serving our customers with the same respect and craftsmanship that I would do on my own house.
Michael Lynch
Co-Owner
Jacob Mosely and I moved forward to form what is known as Soli Deo Gloria Electric, in March of 2021, with the desire to serve our society with the gifts that God has so graciously given to us. I'm grateful for this opportunity to serve in this capacity for others. My prayer is that through my service I may be able to point others to the God, who is the enabler and sustainer of any gift I have. My Wife and I got married in April of 2018 and we are grateful to have one another through all of life's many ups and downs. We are grateful for our boys that we have been blessed with. Their names are Will and John-Paul Lynch. We serve at Faith Baptist Church of Reidville, where we find the love of Christ shown through our brothers and sisters in Christ to be encouraging as well as edifying, as we seek to strive side by side for the sake of the Gospel. Again we pray and hope that we will have the opportunity to serve you and are beyond grateful for everyone who give us that opportunity. Thank You
Jackson Drohan
Residential Field Technician
Born and raised here in Greer South Carolina and I graduated Riverside High School in 2018 and have been doing electrical work since 2021. During my free time I like to be doing CrossFit competitively or hanging with my girlfriend Jordan.
Jessica Rubbo
Commercial Industrial Manager
As a graduate of Limestone University, I had the honor of being a part of the acrobatics and tumbling team throughout. During this time, I fell in love with CrossFit and found an amazing community to be a part of. I am a native of the Palmetto State, but after graduating, I moved from Columbia to Spartanburg full-time to continue building my life here. When I’m not working, I can be found at the gym or on an adventure with my black lab, Coal.
Shane Pruitt
Commercial Industrial Supervisor
We are blessed to have Shane and his 35 years of experience as a General Contractor. He is about as hard working as they come. Old school work ethic and precision. His expectations are high for the men he has the privilege to care for but it comes with a helpful personality that is eager to serve. I have literally seen him personally give the shirt off of his back to someone in need. I have seen him provide housing and vehicles for those in need at the expense of himself. His wife is Lisa Pruitt and they have been married for 30+ years. We are blessed to have them on our team.
Adam Williams
Commercial Industrial Apprentice
Adam is the man. He came into the company eager to learn and relentless in any task you give him. Many times he goes so hard he forgets to breathe, true story. We are grateful for Adam and his unwavering pursuit of electrical knowledge as well as experience. I'm confident it will not be long and I will be back on here changing his title to Commercial Industrial Technician.
Caleb Pruitt
Commercial Industrial Technician
Caleb is sharp as a tack and is hands down one of the funniest guys you will ever meet. Never a dull moment when Caleb is around. He is one of those guys that will be the first to volunteer for the task that no one else wants to do. He loves his family and is truly a blessing to have. His experience is from 10 years in plants fixing equipment of all types. He has decided as of recently to devote his time to focusing solely on electrical and is eagerly moving forward.
